Nathmal ki Haveli
This haveli is famous for being the prime minister’s house in the late 19th century. The entrance of this haveli is majestic and is sure to catch the fancy of travellers. Two yellow sandstone carved elephants stand in the front door welcoming all.
Patwon ki Hawali
As you enter this haveli, the charm of the place is sure to intoxicate you. Considered as the best among the three hawaliis of Jaisalmer, this mansion stands in a narrow lane in the middle of the city. Done in beautiful brocade works of gold and silver embroidery of their time from Afghanistan to China, this mansion has five marvelous suites. Moreover, the building is painted with stunning murals.
Salim Singh ki Hawali
This mansion was built 300 years ago and a part of this building is still used for residence purpose. Former prime minister of the state of Jaisalmer, Salim Singh, owes this house. The carvings of the house is mind blowing and admirable. The building has an arched roof decorated in the shape of peacocks. Feel the royal and noble heritage of the place which adds up the charm of the place and its tourist attractions.
