In the 19th century, the Keoladeo National Park was founded by the Maharaja of Bharatpur. Later on, this park became a famous place for many foreign as well as local tourists.
Birds are the main attraction for the tourists in this Keoladeo National Park. Major Birds of Keoladeo National Park are Shanks, Stints, Geese, Ducks, Pelicans, Egrets, Ibises, Hawks, Eagles, Flycatchers, Warblers, Buntings, Wheatears, Larks, Wagtails and Pipits. Apart from these birds, there are many uncommon animals and reptiles in the Keoladeo National Park.

Flora:
The major twenty nine kilometers of Keoladeo National Park is covered with wide Grasslands, beautiful Kadam forests and shallow lakes.
Birds:
Birds are the main attraction for the tourists in this park. It is one of the best places in the world where one can see plenty of different birds. A tourist can see around 350 species of birds, both resident and migratory. The most popular bird of the park is the highly endangered Siberian Cranes. The birds reach the park in December and stay comfortably till the end of March.
Animals:
Though the birds are the integral part of Keoladeo National Park of Bharatpur, yet the animals have occupied a special place in the heart of spectators and visitors. Animals such as Golden Jackal, Fishing Cat, Jungle Cat, Striped Hyena, Nilgai, Blackbuck Sambar, and Wild Boar are the famous animals of the park.
Reptiles:
Apart from birds and animals, there are a wide collection of reptiles in Bharatpur National Park. Large Python is one of the major attractions of the park.
Other than these, a tourist can enjoy the cycling, boating, walking trips, rickshaw ride in the Bharatpur National Park or Keoladeo National Park.
