Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti is a major tourist attraction of Ajmer. You can experience a divine feeling as you enter this place. The mausoleum in this place is of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, the great Sufi saint.
The entry of the Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti is after walking past The Dargah Bazaar, always bustling with people. There is a high gateway where there is intricate silver carved work. It looks like a beautiful ornamentation on the gate.

The two giant cauldrons are situated in the courtyard which looks amazing. While stepping inside the sanctum, you will notice the tomb of the famous Sufi saint, Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, which is surrounded by a silver railing which is ornamented with intricate silver carving.
There is a marble partition in the main tomb of the Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. There is also a special prayer hall for women, at Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, which was constructed by Shah Jahan.

The six days which he spent in seclusion in his quarters before passing away are celebrated as Urs festival, every year.
The main tomb of Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti was constructed by Humayun and some additions to it were done by other rulers. There are also some mosques in Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, which was built by emperors, Shah Jahan and Akbar, which are also major attractions of the tourists.
