Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra is a major tourist attraction of Ajmer in Rajasthan. It is a marvelous blend of Indo-Islamic architecture. As the name suggests, the entire structure was built is 2 days and Mohammed Ghori supervised it. It was built in 1198 A.D. In this place, before the construction of Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra, was an ancient center for learning Sanskrit. The pillars and structures of Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra premises are the devastated structures of Jain and Hindu temples.

You can also go through the Koranic verses inscribed Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra, on the walls of 7 arched walls. The main facade of Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra is in yellow painted arches. The tourists really appreciate the decor on the walls of Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra.
The tall tower inside Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra is served as the platform of chant prayers of the muezzin, which has perfect carvings on it. There is also delicate carving work in the form of lattices, inside the main prayer hall of Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra. Through these rectangular panels of the prayer sanctum, streams of sunlight pass and enter the prayer room which creates a mesmerizing atmosphere.
There is Sanskrit inscription on the top of the main gate of Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra, which you can read if you know Sanskrit. There are 124 pillars supporting the entire structure. Each and every one is identical and there is no similarity between them. Even though, all these pillars are well integrated to create this beautiful magnificent masterpiece. There are 10 domes located on the top of Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra. You will find Kufi and Jughra inscriptions from sacred Koran of the Muslims, chiseled on this whole monument.
