Tourist Attractions in Ajmer constitute the historical and religious places of Ajmer in Rajasthan. It is situated on the green landscape, on top of the barren hills of Rajasthan. This city was founded by Raja Ajay pal Chauhan in the time of 7th Century, A.D., which remained as a major center of Chauhan power till 1193 A.D. One of the important features of Ajmer Tourism is the famous Mayo College, of which, Maharaja of Alwar was the first student is located at the heart of the city.
